The NBDE is retired — JCNDE discontinued Part I on July 31, 2020, and Part II was not available after July 31, 2022 — and the INBDE, launched August 1, 2020, is the single pass/fail National Board written exam (500 items versus 900 across the two NBDE parts), accepted in all U.S. licensing jurisdictions. Old NBDE results do not disappear: official results reports include all previous NBDE Part I, Part II, and INBDE attempts, with numerical scores still reported for pre-2012 testers, and requests are made through the DENTPIN account's 'Requests' tab (ADA.org/DENTPIN), with acceptance of an old pass decided by each licensing board.
