Dental hygienists in Arizona: 45 hours / 3 years (triennial). Renewal-cycle notes: Triennial cycle; licenses now expire on the licensee's birthday. Dentists: 63 hours per 3 years, of which up to 21 hours may be self-study/online (and charitable) activities; mandatory minimums of 3 hrs opioid education, 3 hrs infectious diseases/infection control, and 3 hrs in ethics or Arizona dental jurisprudence per cycle; CPR/BLS (with ACLS/PALS accepted).
