Dentovio public answer
how to pass the Florida dental laws and rules exam
Florida's Laws and Rules exams are closed-book, computer-based exams at Prometric test centers: up to 67 items for dentists (FDLR, $135) and up to 64 for hygienists (FHLR, $105), each 90 minutes with a 75% minimum score and pass/fail results in 2-3 business days. Questions come only from Chapter 456 and Chapter 466, Florida Statutes, and Division 64B5, Florida Administrative Code — study the rule texts in force since June 1, 2026, not older summaries (the 2019 booklet's 64B27 chapter is no longer in the vendor's published scope). Florida publishes no pass rate for these exams. The ADEX 18-month completion window applies to the clinical examination parts; the Laws and Rules exams are standalone computer-based exams.
