Florida dental hygiene laws and rules exam
The Florida Dental Hygiene Laws and Rules exam (FHLR) is a separate examination from the dentist FDLR: up to 64 multiple-choice items (including up to 5 unscored field-test items), 90 minutes, closed book at Prometric centers, 75% to pass, $105 per attempt. By rule it covers Chapter 466, Chapter 456, and Division 64B5 — with no more than 3% on Chapter 456 — and hygienist candidates are tested hardest on their own scope, supervision levels, delegation, and dental charting rules.
