For dental license renewal in Connecticut, dentists need 25 contact hours / 2 years and dental hygienists need 16 contact hours / 2 years. Dental assistants: No general CE-hours requirement (CT does not license dental assistants broadly); dental assistants performing radiography must hold DANB radiation-safety certification, but no board-published biennial CE-hour total. 2-year (24-month) cycle; 1 contact hour = 50 minutes.
