Dental assistant online CE notesBiennial (2-year) cycle; reporting deadline Dec 31 of renewal year. Dentists: of the 50 hrs, at least 40 must relate to patient treatment/health/safety. Hygienists: of the 30 hrs, at least 25 must be patient-care-related. Current BLS/ACLS (or equivalent) certification required to renew. Carry-forward allowed (max 25 hrs dentist / 15 hrs hygienist).
