CPR/BLS must be kept current but does NOT count toward the 30 hours. Dentists who prescribe controlled substances: 3 hours in KASPER, pain management, or addiction disorders (counts within the 30). Hygienists: General Supervision RDH need 3 hrs medical emergencies; Public Health RDH need 5 hrs public health + 3 hrs medical emergencies (all within the 30).
