Biennial cycle (Board Reg. 41 / 30 Miss. Admin. Code Pt. 2301 R. 1.41). Dentists: 40 hrs, cycle Jan 1 of even year–Dec 31 of odd year. Hygienists: 20 hrs, cycle Jan 1 of odd year–Dec 31 of even year. Opioid: dentists who prescribe/administer/dispense controlled substances (or propose to) must complete 3 hrs opioid-prescribing CDE each cycle. First renewal period is exempt.
