# Dentovio Dental Radiography Exam Prep

Dentovio Dental Radiography Exam Prep connects focused lessons, original practice questions and answer explanations so you can decide what to study next.

## Make your next study session count

Read a lesson, try questions on that topic, then review the reasoning behind each answer. Return to the lesson when an explanation reveals a gap.

## Topics you can study

Prepare for the DANB® RHS® exam with independent study materials.

- Dental imaging purpose, positioning and image quality
- Radiation characteristics and protection
- Infection prevention during dental imaging

The Radiation Health and Safety (RHS®) exam covers dental imaging technique, radiation characteristics and protection, and infection prevention. The official outline currently tests digital radiography.[^A1]

## Choose the study step you need

- **Read:** use focused lessons and review sheets to revisit a topic.
- **Apply:** answer original questions and compare the explanations for every option.
- **Return:** save your answers, flag questions and resume saved practice.

## One course, a connected study routine

## Frequently asked questions

### What is included?

You can read lessons, use review sheets and work through original practice questions. Each answer explanation includes the rationale, reasons the other options do not fit, and source references. The course inventory shown above reflects the material available in this product. Choose a topic to study, then use your practice review to decide what to revisit.

### Can I return to my work?

Yes. Choose an answer and use Save answer to store it. You can flag a question and resume a saved practice session. The interface confirms successful saves and shows an error if a save fails. A choice you have selected but have not saved is still a draft. Keep the save confirmation in view before leaving.

### Is this an official exam or a certification?

This is independent educational preparation. Purchasing or completing this course does not register you for an exam-board examination, establish examination eligibility or award exam-board certification. Check the exam board’s official information for the requirements that apply to you. Practice results describe your work on these questions; they do not predict an official score or guarantee a passing result.

### How do price and access work?

The price and access terms displayed above come from the current course offer. Read those terms and the linked checkout information before purchasing. Examination registration with the exam board and its fees are separate. Course preparation does not replace your responsibility to check the exam board’s current examination requirements, application information and policies for the examination you intend to take.

## Try one question

Which X-ray tube setting determines the maximum possible energy of the photons produced?

A. Tube current (mA)
B. Exposure duration
C. Receptor size
D. Peak tube voltage (kVp)

Best answer: D. Peak tube voltage sets the maximum possible X-ray photon energy. At fixed voltage, current and exposure duration affect photon output. Receptor size is not the voltage accelerating electrons in the tube.

A: At a fixed tube voltage, tube current affects photon intensity. It is not the setting that fixes the spectrum's maximum energy.

B: With tube voltage held fixed, a longer exposure changes photon quantity rather than raising the maximum energy.

C: Receptor size is not the accelerating voltage that sets the tube spectrum's upper photon energy; it does not by itself set that energy.

Distinguish the maximum photon energy from photon quantity; no numerical exposure settings are prescribed.
