## Learn the reasoning behind an answer

The course connects biomedical sciences, clinical sciences, and data, research interpretation and evidence-based dentistry. These are the ADAT's three examination areas. The lesson organization and learning objectives are Dentovio's teaching structure.[^A1]

Read a focused lesson, apply it in original questions, and use the explanation to decide what to revisit. Each question includes the best answer, a rationale, explanations for every other option, and sources. Research questions use explicitly fictional datasets to teach interpretation without implying a real treatment effect.

## Give each practice session a purpose

- **Start with the diagnostic.** Use its section feedback to choose a starting point. A small sample does not measure mastery of every topic.
- **Study and apply.** Follow the lessons and choose routine practice by section, lesson or learning objective.
- **Review your reasoning.** Work in tutor mode for feedback as you go, or timed mode to review after completing the session.
- **Return to difficult questions.** Filter routine practice for incorrect, previously skipped or bookmarked items.
- **Save your place.** Resume saved sessions, track studied lessons and set a plan around your own target date.

## Keep the full forms for a fresh attempt

Two separate 200-question forms contain 80 biomedical, 80 clinical and 40 data/research questions each. Their questions are separate from the diagnostic and routine practice. Section times follow the 2026 official specification. Navigation controls are Dentovio's practice design. Our continuous practice timer includes loading time; the official examination pauses its timer while an item loads. These are original Dentovio forms, not past or official examinations.[^A1]

Practice results report performance on the questions attempted. They are not ADA scaled scores, percentiles or admission predictions. The ADAT has no universal official passing score; individual programs determine how they use results.[^A1]

## Know what you are preparing for

The ADAT supports advanced dental education admissions; it is not a dental licensure examination. Confirm your program's requirements and the examination information that applies to your appointment with the [American Dental Association](https://www.ada.org/education/testing/exams/advanced-dental-admission-test-adat).[^A3]

This is independent educational preparation, with no score or admission guarantee. Clinical examples support learning and do not provide an individual patient's treatment plan. Publication and source-verification details appear below, with Dentovio's methodology and correction process.
